Help Cover Bee Thao Xiong's Funeral Expenses

It is with a heavy heart to share that our dear sister and sister-in-law, Bee Thao Xiong, has lost her battle to endometrial cancer on July 15th, 2024. Bee was diagnosed in March of 2021, and has been battling against this cruel disease for the past 3 years. In May of 2022, a hysterectomy surgery was performed to prevent the cancer from spreading, but to no avail, the cancer continued to develop. The following year, a tumor was discovered by her abdomen but surgery was not an option. Throughout her journey, Bee underwent surgery, painful rounds of chemotherapy, and many other harsh medical procedures. She had to endure through excruciating painful side effects that left her debilitated. Throughout all these challenges, she remained positive and didn’t give up on the hope of recovering.

Bee truly had a beautiful and generous heart. Those who knew her, remember her as being kind, caring and patient. Even while battling cancer, she continued to go out of her ways to love on others and help families and friends. Bee was always known for her skills in the kitchen and her love for cooking. While she should have been resting, she would often be seen mustering up all the energy she could to make delicious food for loved ones. Bee was always so selfless and would put the needs of others above herself. We all love and miss Bee tremendously and wish that she was still here with us. No words can describe the pain of losing a loved one and the emptiness that we feel.

We decided to create this Gofundme campaign to provide assistance for Bee’s husband, B.A. Xiong, in covering unpaid medical bills and funeral expenses to give Bee the best end of life celebration. Due to Bee’s inability to work for the past year and issues with her medical leave, they have exhausted all their savings and her husband is left in a financial strain. Our family would greatly appreciate the support and assistance provided to our brother and brother-in-law, while mourning the loss of his life partner of 20+ years.
