Help Cover Brian Oliver's Unexpected Funeral Costs

My sister Megan & I are setting this up to help pay for the cost of our dad, Brian Oliver’s funeral expenses. He did not currently have a life insurance policy- as preexisting conditions with his past aneurysm, and numerous back surgeries made it very difficult to obtain.

No one expected this sudden & tragic death. He was working in a cow pasture on the afternoon of April 28th, when he was attacked by a bull and drug through the pastures and creek bed attacking him for around 20 minutes. His friend, Mike Carroll was able to step in and help once he heard my dad’s screams. Mike was also then attacked but he was able to call for help luckily. They were both airlifted from the pasture. Unfortunately our dad’s injuries were extreme, he suffered- two collapsed lungs, every rib on both sides broken except for two, both shoulder bones broken, his kidneys quit working & went into failure, broken neck, multiple spinal fractures, as well as severe external head trauma, and heart/lung bruising.

He was able to be put on ECMO on May 1st but on May 2nd around 12:55am his body quit responding to the machine and he sadly did not make it. He was able to be surrounded by family and we know he is with our Lord & Savior now. Services will be help at Hopewell Baptist Church of Blacksburg, SC sometime after May 6th. We will post complete arrangements with date/time once they are finalized. Arrangements will also be updated with all covering media outlets.
