Help Cover David Franklin Newton's Final Expenses

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of my wife's father, David Franklin Newton. David passed away on hospice in Hickory, North Carolina at 5:15 pm on August 3, 2024. David was a proud Army Veteran from the 82nd Airborne and would tell anyone that listened. He had only one child, Brandy Labossiere, who he loved dearly.

David, a veteran experiencing homelessness, was found last year in the Fayetteville area. He suffered massive injuries sustained from a fall and has been in and out of the hospital for over a year. He was finally accepted into a nursing home in Nebo, NC a few months ago but was quickly transferred to hospice care at a new facility in Hickory, NC. David fought on hospice for over two weeks but finally succumbed to his injuries.

The family is asking for donations for cremation services, medical bills and a celebration of life. Thank you for your support and prayers during this difficult time.
