Help Cover Egg Freezing Costs for Future Moms

Donation protected
I am a 34-year-old, single, healthy woman... and one day I want to be a mom.

The world of dating is hard, and I don't want to be pressured into settling for a partner that isn't right for me just because I want to be a mom. Unfortunately, insurance companies don't care about my dating life. I respect that there has been some progress in covering egg freezing for women with medical conditions that may cause infertility—that gives me hope. But still, there is very little coverage (if any) for your average healthy woman who just doesn't have a partner yet or is in a relationship and not yet ready to procreate.

In speaking with friends around my age and in similar situations, this is a huge problem. It has been for a long time. If insurance companies aren't going to do anything yet, I feel the need to come here and somewhat shamelessly ask for help. Selfishly, my first priority is myself. The money donated here will first go to cover my egg freezing costs. HOWEVER, anything I am donated beyond those costs will go to women I know that need the same help.

This is important, and I wish there were better options for me and women like me. I'm hoping (perhaps naively) that some insurance bigwigs see this and are inspired to make some change. But in the meantime, please donate what you can. Be it $1 or $1,000, ANYTHING is appreciated.
