Help Cover Expenses for Baby Ryleigh

My name is Lauren and I’m starting this GoFundMe for my cousin Scott and his fiancé Melissa who lost their 2 1/2 week old baby girl this morning.

 

Ryleigh Creeklyn Byrd was born September 30, 2021 at 4:18am to Scott Byrd and Melissa Harper. She weighed 5lbs 6 ounces and was 17 inches long. Ryleigh gained her little angel wings on her due date, October 18, 2021 at approximately 6:00 am at home.

 

Miss. Ryleigh was such a precious innocent soul who was taken back too soon. She was a good baby who had just started seeing faces, and holding on to her Mommy and Daddy’s thumbs. She was soothed by her Daddy’s voice, and rocked to sleep by Mommy every night. She was loved beyond words by her entire family, so this is an absolute tragedy for them.

 

Scott has 4 kids from his previous relationship, but Melissa has had infertility issues. She tried IVF therapy, had multiple miscarriages and then became pregnant with her “miracle” baby girl, Ryleigh.

 

As most parents understand, they are absolutely devastated, speechless, heartbroken and currently still in shock. No one should have to lay their baby down to rest. I’ve started this fundraiser to help the family with expenses of the funeral and burial plot, also food, essentials and upcoming bills. Please spare what you can to help these wonderful parents out during the most difficult time of their lives.
