Help cover father’s funeral cost

In memory of my father Israel Sanchez 47 y/o, his family and I are humbly reaching out for donations to assist with both medical and funeral expenses that will provide a bit of solace to his family during these difficult times. Israel was a beloved father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, and great friend to those who knew him. Unfortunately Israel was struck Monday March 18th, approximately around 3:00pm while walking through a crosswalk on Main St and Meridian Ave in Alhambra just minutes away from his home in Alhambra, CA. The driver was trying to escape the scene, but thank you to residents of the area, he was stopped. It is unknown what will happen with the driver, but justice definitely needs to be served. Israel will always be remembered for his humbleness and kindness. He would always go out of his way to help others, was the life of the party, had a great sense of humor, and his smile brighten anyone’s day. He had a great passion for cooking, those who knew him or simply ever got to taste his food would definitely say he was an amazing chef.
