Help Cover Gabriel Tew's Medical Costs

On January 4th, while speaking at a ministry event, our father Gabriel Tew suffered from a stroke caused by a dissected Carotid artery. He spent some time in the ICU and has since moved to a stroke unit. The extensive list of treatments includes an ambulance ride, a stent placed into the damaged artery, CT scans, an MRI, and much more. Most recently he had a PEG feeding tube put in which should allow him to proceed to physical, occupational, and speech therapy. The highly recommended intensive 3-5 hour-a-day therapy program will be vital for him to begin the long journey ahead of regaining control of his body. This long-term treatment is very costly. He is making steady progress and we can only thank God for answering our prayers, as well as the prayers of many others around the world. We see now God has given us the best worst-case scenario; had he not had the stroke surrounded by friends and family, he may not have even made it to the hospital in time.
Many of you know Gabe as a pastor, mentor, counselor or friend. But to us (his family) he is a husband, father of six, GPop to a 2-year-old, with two new grandbabies on the way. After many years of working as an Administrator of a Skilled Nursing Facility, he has followed the call of God to minister to people whose lives are affected by addiction. As is often the case, working in ministry came with some level of personal sacrifice. In this new position, acquiring health insurance has been financially unfeasible. As his family, we are asking for two things.
1) Pray, pray some more, and pray again!! We have been amazed by the amount of support we have received through you all and know that the progress we are seeing is directly related to everyone's constant prayer.
2) The medical costs are snowballing as he undergoes more urgently necessary treatments and therapy. If you know our parents, you know they are often the first to give and sacrifice without question. Our parents would never ask, so we are asking for them; Anything you can pitch in helps towards our goal of $75,000 to begin to chip away at the total bill accumulating from his current and future treatment. This number is a rough estimate of upcoming costs. We 100% believe that God will provide for all of our Dad's needs, and we ask that you would prayerfully consider being a part of God's plan to meet those needs.
But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:19
