My name is Ashley Castoe My sister, Heather Dyan Castoe died unexpectedly at the young age of 50. She passed away in her sleep, leaving behind her service dog, Tes, and my oldest sister and I. My oldest sister and I are trying to raise money to come up with the funds for her cremation and to handle all of her last expenses. Heather was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at 7 years old. The doctors told my parents that she probably wouldn't live to be a teenager. However, she did and she thrived. Growing up in PALO CEDRO/ COTTONWOOD CA & Being a special kind of animal lover, she had a certain understanding and bond with them unlike anything I'd ever seen. Showing horses successfully at a young age, her passion for horses grew from there.. it wasn't just a passion, it was 100% In her blood.. taour life as kids ... A horse show every weekend
.. and then came the Redding Rodeo Assn./ And the Redding Jr. Rodeo drill team .. and it was on.. she stayed in the drill team, and when she turned 18, she started carrying Spencer flag... her life constantly was horses ... I'm blessed she taught me all.. she I know today... SHE WAS GOOD t hiding the fact that she was constantly battling with her diabetes, but trying to help others as well.
She had a quirky sense of humor, always keeping you on your toes.
The mortuary said that after a short period they will start charging a storage fee, on top of the cremation fee. So please, anything will help. THANK YOU.
