Jorge Barona’s Family During this Difficult Time

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the sudden passing of Jorge Barona. As the saying goes – Your friends are the family you choose and Jorge was a beloved friend to us for over 30 years turned closest member of our family whose unexpected departure at the tender age of 61 has left us all in shock and mourning.

Jorge’s story started 40 years ago when he arrived in the US from Mexico looking for a better future and lived with our family for 20 of those 40 years. He touched so many lives with his good nature, kindness, and relentless dedication to our family making his impact to our children who simply knew him as uncle Jorge. During this difficult time, we are reaching out to the community to support the Mora family as they navigate the financial and emotional toll that comes with a loss of this magnitude as Jorge had no family of his own in the U.S. or Mexico.
