Help Cover Larry Posz's Funeral Expenses

Help support the Lawrence (Larry) Posz family after their loss. Larry gained his wings on 7/26/24, at the age of 68, surrounded by his family. Larry was a loving, witty, humorous, supportive, generous man, who fought two different cancer battles.

Back in 2009, Larry was diagnosed with Stage Four Colon Cancer. The cancer metastasized to his liver and lungs. Larry underwent major surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. He then went into remission.

February 2024 Larry was diagnosed with Stage Four Esophageal Cancer. March 2024 Larry flew out to Washington to undergo chemotherapy and radiation. While in WA, Larry was able to say goodbye to his parents who passed away May & June 2024.

After failed treatment, Larry returned home on July 3rd. He took a serious decline in health on July 23rd, and was admitted to hospice. July 26th, Larry left earth side, with his family by his side, in his home.

Even with both aggressive cancer treatments, Larry kept his humor and optimism. He truly believed he would beat this cancer too.

Between all the costs he accrued from treatment, and lack of life insurance approval, there is not much left for funeral expenses.

We are making this go fund me to help cover the $6,000 funeral cost. We feel like this is the last thing his family should have to worry about. Larry has always been so loving to everyone around him. He deserves a good send off.

We thank you for your condolences and donations. Visitation will be from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Monday, July 29th, at Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden with a Prayer Service at 6:45 P.M.
