Help Cover Mario Nocera's Funeral Costs

We are deeply saddened to announce the untimely passing of my stepfather, Mario Nocera, on Friday, November 22, 2024.

Mario experienced a number of health issues as a result of being part of the clean-up and discovery crew in the weeks after 9/11. Mario suffered from cancer, diabetes, multiple surgeries, and other related health conditions caused by 9/11. In the days following 9/11 and leading up to his passing, Mario's actions demonstrated his true heroism.

With all of the emotional pain and stress that death brings, it can also bring financial burdens. I would like to raise money for my mother, Nancy Nocera, and to help with all funeral expenses and outstanding debts related to his passing.

Mario and Nancy first met in 2002 and tied the knot in 2010. Mario was the rock behind the passing of my two brothers, Mike and Nick, and was the most loving father I could ask for. He was also the most amazing grandfather to my daughter Sofia, shown in the photo above. Mario had a heart of gold and could make you smile and laugh the moment he walked into a room.

Due to Mario's early retirement, his pension will not carry over to Nancy. Mario's care needs prevented her from working due to his ongoing surgeries and back-to-back appointments. It is during times of sadness and loss when people can come together to help one another make it through. Any support you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

I extended the service date, the actual date of service is 11/29/2024.
