Help Cover Michael Eugene Bruney's Funeral Costs

Michael Eugene Bruney born July 24, 1965 passed away sometime this past week and someone reported it to the police yesterday. Michael was a homeless man living in Gladewater TX. He was the sweetest most caring person I’ve ever met. His smile was so infectious, he was always smiling and would talk to anyone. He would never take money from anyone he always stated he just wanted some food or something to drink or he would say he’s okay for now and doesn’t need anything. I don’t know much about him other than he had obviously been through a lot in his lifetime considering he was homeless. Though a Facebook post we have located his sister and she has given me the following information. Her and her husband are on a fixed income and they are not sure how they will cover the expenses of this. Their mother and father are both deceased and his sister is the only remaining immediate family. They were born and raised in Gladewater and graduated with the class of 1981. Mr Mike has been in Longview and Tyler but he considered Gladewater home and that’s what brought him back. Mr Mike will be missed greatly by the Gladewater community.
