Help Cover Mother "Tammy Teague" End-of-Life Expenses
Donation protected
My siblings Justice, Jordan, and I come to you this time with heavy hearts, asking for prayers. As we brought our mother home today from being in the ICU for several weeks, we're not sure how much time the good Lord is giving us with her. We hope to bring my brother Jordan down to see her and for all of us to continue providing her with all the love and care we have before the good Lord calls her home.
We are saddened to say that at 52 years old, our mother has no life insurance. Our mother's health in the last several years has declined tremendously, especially over the past month.
My wife and I have done the best we can taking care of her over the past 7 years through her illnesses, and we would do it 1,000 times over. Her and I have exhausted all our leave and sick time recently through work.
We all are not only emotionally overwhelmed but also financially overwhelmed with the information about burial services/cremation and the continued medical care.
All we'd like to do and will continue to do is give her all the love and care we can. It's all in God's hands, and that's whom we continue to draw strength from.
She has stage 4 organ failure with no current treatments, and she does not qualify for a transplant with added underlying conditions.
We decided in-home hospice at our home was best since $4,000 a month at a facility for room and board didn't seem affordable/reasonable. Her being home is truly a blessing because we can see how comfortable she is having her family around at this time.
We are humbled and asking for prayers, and if you're able to donate, our family would really appreciate it. God bless you and yours.
