After years of using my platform on YouTube and Twitter to speak out against their horrible safety and moderation practices, the Roblox Corporation decided to file a lawsuit against me alleging cyber-terrorism, leading a "cybermob," and photoshopping images of their employees depicting them nude. As ridiculous as these claims are, they still required a professional legal defense. Thus, my only reasonable option was to hire a lawyer. The retainer alone was $10,000 and completely wiped out my savings.

 

While this lawsuit was going on, Roblox's moderation team remained oblivious to several child predators and alleged sex offenders using their platform to groom children, abuse power, and profit tens of thousands of dollars from payments directly from the Roblox Corporation. As soon as we settled, I published a video discussing one of these predators and demonstrating the truthfulness of Roblox's legal complaint.

 

 

 

 

Releasing more videos on this lawsuit requires expensive legal services to ensure I'm not hit with further legal action from Roblox. Helping me recover the $10,000 I spent defending myself would allow me to continue to speak out on behalf of Roblox's most vulnerable users and alleviate the enormous burden this lawsuit has left on my life.
