Help cover Sam's gender affirming surgery

Hey everyone,

I am Sam, a 22-year-old trans woman and student activist at New College of Florida. The Florida legislature announced it will be pushing to prevent private insurance from covering gender-affirming healthcare. Right now my gender-affirming surgery costs $5000, but if this bill passes, I would lose my insurance coverage and it would increase to $25000. This is why I'm racing to get the surgery this winter. I have dreamed of getting this procedure since I was as young as I could remember, so I know with 100% certainty this is right for me.
