Help cover Scarlett's vet bills from gunshot wounds

On January 2nd Scarlett and Hansen slipped under our backyard fence into a neighboring area. We got a call from a neighbor that our dogs were behind the fence. I called on a friend to go check on them due to Shane and I being away on our honeymoon. When help arrived to check on the welfare of the dogs, it became disturbingly clear that somebody had shot Scarlett. Her wounds indicated that the bullet grazed her on her ear, down her neck and along her back. She was taken to the emergency vet where she was taken care of. The wounds unfortunately were severe that she required stitches in her ear but the larger wounds on her body needed to remain open so that they can drain and limit the chance of infection. That being said she is scheduled to go back to the vet every day until they can determine that no infection is rooting. If you know Shane and I then you know how much we love our dogs. They are our kids in every way that matters and it breaks our hearts to think somebody would do something like this. Her vet bills obviously came as a shock to us and any donation that you can make is greatly appreciated. When we arrive back to the US we will be filling a police report to hopefully bring the shooter to justice.
