Honoring Steve Hill: A Fundraiser to Support His Beloved Wife, Lauren

Dear Friends and Family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our dear friend, Steve Hill. Steve was an integral part of the nightlife scene in Phoenix, bringing joy and music to countless lives as a talented DJ for over a decade. Many of you may know him by Klu. His passion for music extended far beyond Phoenix as he traveled the world with the tribute band "One More Time," bringing the magic of Daft Punk to fans everywhere. As a cherished member of the Walter Tribe, Steve also contributed to events nationwide and was a beloved presence at Burning Man.

Steve was the soundtrack to some of our most cherished memories. His music brought people together, and his humble and kind nature made everyone feel special. He had a unique way of making us laugh and feel at ease, whether through his music or his easygoing personality.

Tragically, Steve passed away from complications related to Crohn's Disease. His loss has left an immense void in our hearts and in the life of his beloved wife, Lauren. Lauren has shown incredible strength during this difficult time. This fundraiser aims to give her a moment to grieve and reduce the stress of the unexpected costs associated with Steve's passing.

The funds raised will help cover medical bills and funeral expenses. Though no amount of money can ever replace Steve, we hope to support Lauren in any way we can.

A Memory of Steve:

One of my favorite memories of Steve that he would do often is when he would DJ , he would take song requests from me. He always invited me up on stage with him and made me feel like a rockstar. Steve loved to make people feel special and brought everyone together through his music. His simple acts of kindness exemplifies who he was – someone who genuinely cared about the happiness of others.

We are incredibly grateful for any contribution you can make, no matter the amount. Your support will provide Lauren with the time and space she needs to heal during this incredibly challenging time.

Funeral services will be announced soon. Steve's brother is putting together a slideshow to honor his memory.
