Help Cover The Cost Of Carlos Sanchez's Service

Our beloved friend and legendary DJ Carlos Sanchez passed away on March 28, 2021. Carlos was a vibrant, thoughtful, loving, and caring individual, who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his brother Fernando Sanchez and a legion of friends in the dance community.

Carlos dedicated a big part of his time to music, which was his calling in life. He was a pivotal figure in the development of New York City’s dance music scene. He spent much of his time acting as a mentor to others in the community and sharing the knowledge that he possessed (with over 50 years of experience). On a more personal note, Carlos contributed much of his spare time working with and aiding the addiction/recovery community. 

We are all devastated by Carlos’ loss and were not prepared for the high cost of the funeral services. We want to insure Carlos gets the type of memorial that reflects his life, his love, and his artistic passions created through his music. Let's honor his memory and say our last goodbyes in a way that he'd admire.

We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Carlos’ funeral. Our goal is to raise $15,000 by April 15th, in order to be able to afford the service, and any additional fees that may be incurred.
