Help with bringing my mom home alive.

I never thought things would get to the point of having to ask for help. I'd much rather prefer to be able to take care of this myself because it’s a very personal matter, however I am only 24 years old and my mother and 4 siblings (4,5,6, &12) are all that I have so I was advised to consider starting a fundraiser. I was initially uncomfortable with the idea because of the high goal amount however, this is our last resort.

My mother has been unable to leave Honduras, Central America since 2011 due to her passport being taken from her when she tried to for having overstayed. At that time she had no money to pay the fees to leave and no job and as a 15 year old at that time, nor did I. As time passed these fees began to increase drastically. Although the income here is extremely low, Since being here, she’s spent her time as an educator, preparing students for college as well as even managing small fundraisers for new mothers who are less fortunate, providing them with resources they do not have all while trying to save to return to the USA.

However, behind the scenes she has been battling a number of health conditions such as severe heart problems & an extremely weak immune system. She is also now struggling to fight "Sepsis" which is a life-threatening complication of an infection. It occurs when chemicals released in the bloodstream to fight an infection trigger inflammation throughout the body. This can cause a cascade of changes that damage multiple organ systems, leading them to fail, eventually resulting in death if you don’t receive adequate care, which we do not have access to. She may also need surgery for damaged organ tissues. 
Without access to adequate medical attention her body has been deteriorating drastically before I can save enough of the funds for her to be able to come back to the US & naturally medical expenses have now also become a yet another major factor.During this time I’ve struggled tremendously to help support her health,  her body and organs are behaving erratically and failing because the hospitals here are unable to treat her successfully due to limited resources & were not even feeding her. They even had to discharge her without completing her treatments. Given the circumstances I had to make the decision to come here as well in case anything terrible should happen because I have 4 younger siblings here as well.

Since I can not work a regular job here without residency myself, I've been working online as a  small Patreon creator to raise money, but unfortunately at this time my earnings are no where near the goal we’d need to reach in order for us to be able to return to the US and we are running out of time as the doctors here are having trouble treating her with limited access to the resources she needs. It’s beginning to become all too much for me to handle alone and quite frankly,  impossible that she’ll ever be able to return home without the help of generous donations. I am absolutely terrified of losing my mother and so anything you may be able to donate is greatly appreciated.

The goal amount listed above includes the fee Honduras is demanding in order to bring her home, lawyer costs, as well as medical expenses.  I have been doing my very best  covering any costs that my mom can not afford, but many people suggested to make a GoFundMe, since it's pretty much impossible with my current income. I've asked my mother how she felt about starting a fundraiser for her &  with permission this is what I've done.
