Update (from Craig): Thank you for all the prayers and hope, but Tristin went home with God 8/12/24 at 12:10Am. He fought like hell he’s a true hero and champion.

My dear friend Candace, her Husband Craig and step-son Tristin's lives were forever changed on July 30th. Craig and Tristin were riding their motorcycles when a distracted driver struck them both causing life changing injuries to them both. We are so grateful they are still alive, but the road ahead of them is long and expensive. This is a great way to help support the family and their is so much uncertainty ahead.

Newspaper article:
Two Bowling Green motorcyclists were injured Tuesday (July 30) around 6:50 p.m., when a pickup truck backed out of a driveway in the 20000 block of Kellogg Road, and reportedly failed to yield to oncoming traffic, according to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.

Suffering potential serious injuries were Tristin Bockbrader, 22, and Craig Bockbrader, 49, of Bowling Green. They were both transported from the scene by Mercy Life Flight to St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo, according to the crash report.

The pickup truck was reportedly being driven by a 16-year-old, who was cited for failure to yield to the eastbound motorcycles. The pickup driver was not injured.
