Help Craig Recover and Rehabilitate
Donation protected
Craig, a single father of two children, suffered a massive brain hemorrhage on Father's Day 2019. He was rushed to hospital and the initial prognosis was not good. Craig was in a coma for two months; and against all odds, he survived.

With his determined spirit and the help of his medical professionals, Craig has made tremendous progress. He recently completed the 12-week Integrated Stroke Program at Hamilton General Hospital, however, he continues to require restorative care to help him regain more abilities and independence.
Craig was born and raised in Guelph and was very well respected in the financial world. An advisor with CIBC Wood Gundy for 27 years, he took immense pride in managing his clients funds and setting them up for financial freedom. In his spare time he taught Investment courses at Conestoga College and contributed a monthly "Investment Insights" column to the local Guelph paper.

However, Craig's pride and joy has always been his kids; Victoria and Eric. Two incredibly smart, talented and kind individuals who love their Dad deeply.

Craig's goal is to attend the in-patient treatment program at the Neurologic Rehabilitation Institute of Ontario's Hamilton House (NRIO), an award winning privately funded rehabilitation centre for brain injuries. The treatment program is not covered by public health care (or his private health insurance) and costs approximately $30,000 per month, with a one year recommended stay.

Craig's stroke came as a shock to his family and friends. Needless to say, the last year and a half have been incredibly challenging for everyone who loves him. While progress has been made, his road to recovery will be lengthy. All funds raised will go towards his rehabilitation at the NRIO.
If you are able to contribute in any way, big or small, we are incredibly gateful for your support and prayers.
Sincerely,
