✨ Big News: A Beautiful Journey Begins ✨

I have some incredibly special news to share—something that has completely changed my life in the most unexpected and beautiful way.

Back in November, I welcomed a new student into my classroom. From the moment I heard their name and their story, I knew—I loved them. They are creative, joyful, energetic, and resilient—everything I love so much about them. And as I got to know my kiddo, it became so clear that God had placed them in my life for a reason. I couldn’t imagine my life without them.

After months of prayer, seeking wise counsel, and going through training and home study, I am now officially licensed and will be welcoming them into my home this week as I begin the journey of fostering to adopt.

This journey has tested me, refined me, and deepened my faith in ways I never expected—but through every high and low, God has been so, so faithful.

The Lord has done a miracle in both of our lives, building a village that loves us and writing a story far greater than anything I could have imagined. This has been the hardest, most beautiful process, and I know the road ahead won’t always be easy, but it’s a reflection of the gospel—of how the Lord adopts us into His family, bringing redemption to every story. I feel so honored to give this sweet kiddo the love, home, and stability they deserve.
