Help Create a Memorial for a Beautiful Soul

On August 29, 2024, the world lost a beautiful soul. Jennifer Provence, 43, was tragically killed by police during a mental health intervention requested by family. Jennifer suffered from schizophrenia and was experiencing suicidal thoughts. She went outside with a knife in her hand, and was shot and killed by the officer tasked to help her.

Jennifer leaves behind two daughters, Zoe and Ashley, and two sons, Henry and Fredrick. She had ten grandchildren, Danielle, Madly, Hinleigh, Ember, Jaxson, Darlah, Onyx Zackorie, Seraphym and Nova and each of them misses her terribly. No words can express the sadness these family members feel. No words can explain the officer's actions. No words can bring her back.

The family would like to create a permanent memorial for Jennifer. We are thinking of donating to a non profit in her name, or a bench of some sort.
