Hello my name is Rankin and along with Erica and a bunch of longtime chooms (chooms are friends if it's your 1st Cyberpunk experience) want to raise some money to make "lost" scenes from Cyberpunk:Edgerunners on Netflix!

HOW DID THIS START?...

This anime means a lot to Erica and I. The very first Halloween, after the show came out in 2022, we dressed up and went out as David and Lucy. Random people told us our costumes were so good we should cosplay! ...So we did! After we cosplayed at some conventions and parties, people said we should try filming a scene! ...So we did!

We shot the iconic David and Lucy rooftop scene in 4 hours on a green screen! We edited it over 3 weeks in our free-time! In the end we are proud of what we created! (video below) ..But there's a problem... WE WANT TO CREATE MORE! And we want to do even better! We're absolutely obsessed with Cyberpunk!

WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?...

As any obsessed fan would, I started writing "lost scenes" for the series. Creating scenes between episodes or extended from existing scenes from the series! The first one I wrote takes place after episode 3, before episode 4, and focuses on a particularly strong Tyger Claw, Daiki, looking for revenge for his uncle who was killed while chasing David in episode 3. David and Lucy have a plan to fix this bad blood and hopefully have one less enemy in Night City! Will it work out, or will someone get flatlined? or both?...

We hit the ground running with my filmmaker chooms (listed below) and we filmed most of the scenes! However... There's many more expenses to complete this project!

...and that's why I'm here, asking for some help.

Money will be spent as follows:

1. Paying our editors, because whoever is editing the videos ABSOLUTELY works the hardest and longest and we respect their time and they must be compensated.

2. Cast and Crew, There are a lot of people in front of and behind the camera who make a project come to life and they need to eat and be compensated for their skills and time! Many days on set are over 12+ hours so paying them for their time is mandatory.

3. Renting gear, Though collectively we own some gear, it is mandatory to rent certain gear to really bring the world to life, and that costs a lot of money. So much of the production costs goes directly to renting equipment.

4. Costumes/Props, These things really bring the world to life, nothing is more immersive to a project than proper costuming and props. These things take a lot of time to make and purchase as pretty much everything is hand-made for our projects for each actor and/or scene.

5. Stunts/Safety, The scenes we are doing are going to require some major stunts. We have a professional stunt coordinator to make our stunts look amazing, but even more important is keeping all the actors safe!

6. Makeup/Practical Effects, Our amazing artists require a lot of time and materials to bring our chrome and other costumes to life!

7. Locations, Just like our actors and props, our locations must look amazing. We're lucky to have some locations donated, but other places require compensation.

So please, even a few bucks here would directly be helping to keep our adventures alive and well! Support real artists grinding away at their dreams! We'll do our best to create amazing looking content for all of us fans to enjoy!
