Help Creative Starts Daycare Rebuild After Flood -Oxford, CT

Hi, we are the faculty at Creative Starts Learning Center in Oxford CT. Our center has been heavily affected by the flash flood that washed through Oxford and the surrounding towns. Based on what is left of the building, it looks as if it was filled with upwards of 5 feet of water - everything has been ruined - toys, books, furniture, flooring, drywall, etc.

We were fortunate enough that no one was in the building during the time of the flood but we are absolutely heartbroken over the damage done to the place we have made so many memories with children and families.

Creative Starts employs 12 local staff and takes care of over 50 children in the community. We take care of children as young as six weeks old, up to age 6. We would be so appreciative of any support that you can provide so that we can get our center up and running as soon as possible.

Creative Starts is owned by Ron and Marta Stasko, who live in Stratford, CT with their two young boys. They have already been quoted upwards of $50,000 to repair the damage and the insurance companies will not be covering these charges.
