Help Cremate Larry After 8-Year Cancer Fight
Hi everyone,
As most of you know, my older brother Larry was diagnosed with prostate cancer back in 2016 that had metastasized into his bones. He's fought this battle for 8 long years. When he decided to move in with me, I knew it was going to be hard watching another brother die in front of me, but I didn't care. I wanted him home; I needed him home.
In Aug 2024, we had his follow-up with his cancer doctor, and they told him there was nothing left they could do. That he should enjoy life the best he could. They gave him a short 3-6 months to live. Who knew that 3-6 months would only be 3. On November 29th, 2024 Larry lost that long battle.
If anyone knew my brother, you knew he was either playing cribbage or rooting for the Green Bay Packers. Larry was admitted into the hospital on the 20th of Nov because he was so restless due to the amount of pain he was in. While in the hospital, he still had his humor, appetite, and was still up and walking around. Never did we think that a short 9 days later, the Lord was gonna call him home. Only a couple of hours after seeing him on video when my daughter went to visit him, he was gone.
I know this comes at a hard time with Christmas coming up, but I ask that you please donate so I can have him cremated. Larry didnt qualify for any of the state/county progrmas that would have paid for the cremation. If you can't donate, please send prayers for our family. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
