Help Cris OBrien Heal: Emergency Medical Fund
Donation protected
Hi there,
My name is Elizabeth (Lizz) OBrien and I’m creating this on behalf of my parents.
On Sunday April 6th my mother, Cris, suffered a frontal lobe brain hemorrhage. She is currently in the ICU following successful emergency brain surgery to place a drain in her skull.
My father, my sisters, and I are doing everything we can to make sure she knows we are here for her.
This road ahead is completely uncertain and her stay under ICU care is uncertain. She has had good days and bad days and small progresses have been made but when she will be “better” is a complete unknown. What “better” looks like is a complete unknown. What I do know is my father will need every bit of support he can get to be able to provide the care my mother needs.
The last few months have already taken a lot from my family , especially my parents, and the last thing I need Jerry to worry about is how he can pay to save the life of his best friend in the entire world.
My father is my mother’s favorite person. He is all of our protector and if you know our family you know how true to the bone those statements are. He’s been supporting himself and my mom since the pandemic all while trying to finally finish the house he’s been trying to make perfect for her for 30 years.
I spent so many hours of my childhood watching my dad help other people and I can only hope in our greatest time of need everyone can return the favor.
Our mom and dad spent a lot of time teaching us all how to be independent to a fault. And asking for help is hard. But I’m begging for one less burden for the people I love more than anything on this earth.
Thank you.
