Help Crisann Beat Cancer!

Crisann (just Cris to her friends) is one of those extraordinarily rare breath-of-fresh-air people you consider yourself lucky to meet, much less get to call friend. First of all, she’s a stunner; a perpetual summers’ day. And while her blonde bombshell beauty is obvious, what captures people is far more than skin-deep. Cris is compassionate, warm, positive and honest. But it’s her well-honed intuitive sense that makes her truly exceptional, magical even.
Cris has lived all over the world sharing her gifts as an intuitive healer, tarot expert, yoga and breathwork teacher. But she’ll tell you straight off that nothing came close to the greatest gift of all – being a mom to artistically talented, kind and devoted Jamie, age 14. Their relationship is incredibly special and one-of-a-kind.
It’s been said that those with the clearest vision to see into others’ futures sadly lack the ability to see into their own. It’s been the longest seven days ever since Cris, otherwise extremely healthy, found a lump on her breast. Right away, she went to a women’s clinic where mammograms and ultimately a biopsy diagnosed Cris with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Grade 2.
Of course, the news was incredibly upsetting, but she was prepared to do whatever it took to forge ahead if it wasn’t for the excruciating back pain she told a friend about. Her friend knew something wasn’t right and insisted she go to Cedars Sinai ER.
Once there, CT and MRI scans showed her pain was caused by three fractured thoracic vertebrae as a result of another malignant tumor. Pet scans proved that the cancer had indeed spread, and oncologists immediately upgraded Cris to Stage 4. Still being treated for the high level of pain from the spinal fractures, Cris will undergo ten radiation treatments and a round of chemotherapy while in the hospital.
In just 7 days, this beautiful, vibrant Midwestern girl will lose her income as an apartment manager, healer and tarot reader. Cris will be left with an inability to pay any medical bills that may arise after being hospitalized for what is likely to be weeks, then out-patient treatment for what could last a year or more.
Our darling Cris has some steep mountains to climb, and we need to be her breath of fresh air now. Please give what you can. Your generosity, in any amount, will help this precious family of two keep going – and fighting.
