Hi there,

 

I am Cristen and I have been fighting against a disease that is rarely discussed - Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

 

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in January of 2013 at the age of 29. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. MS is different for everyone, and that makes it all the more challenging to solve. The first Walk MS event was in 1988, and since then more than $920 million has been raised for research and programs to improve the lives of people living with MS. Today, there are treatments where there weren't any before, and the dream of ending MS is becoming a reality. But there is still so much to do.

That's why I'm walking and have set an ambitious goal because I know with support from people like you, I have a great chance at reaching it. The money raised will cover the cost of expensive medical treatments, drive groundbreaking research, provide life-changing programs, and guarantee a supportive community for those who need it most.

 

In short, I am passionate to make MS patients come back to life with the help of kind-hearted people like you. And I know you will contribute to the success of my mission!

 

 

Team Cristen will be participating in the MS Society's Chicago Walk on April 24, 2022, at Soldier Field. 

 

We hope to have you join us. And if you cannot join then you can still help by donating here. We started this campaign because we knew that the good people out there would help us reach our goal.

 

Our goal is to raise a minimum of $3,500. We would also like to offer donor incentives.  For every $25.00 donation, you will receive an MS Love, Hope and Cure tumbler, and for every $50.00 donation, you will receive an MS Love, Hope and Cure tumbler along with a Team Cristen "Too Inspired To Be Tired" T-Shirt.

 

For any businesses that wish to donate $250.00 or greater, we would love to recognize your sponsorship by putting your logo on the back of our Team Cristen T-shirt which will be worn by many at the walk.
