Help Crystal & Herbert with Cancer Expenses

If you shop at Sobeys in Digby, there’s a good chance you already know Crystal Deveau. Pretty much everyone who has gone to her check-out comes away with a smile. And if you shop at Sissiboo Home Hardware in Weymouth, you’ve probably met her husband, Herbert. What you may or may not know is that she was diagnosed with cancer a couple of months ago and they’ve had a tough go ever since.

Unless you’ve had cancer or helped a loved one with cancer, it’s really difficult to understand how much and how quickly it changes every aspect of your life. Crystal had surgery a few weeks ago, was home for a couple of days and then back to the hospital where she will likely be for awhile. Herbert has done his absolute best to be with her as much as possible which means even more expense including mileage, a place to sleep, food, and more.

Cancer brings enough stress without the added worry that comes with wondering how to cover the numerous costs associated with a disease like this.
