Funeral and Medical expenses

Hi my name is Rebecca I am a close friend of Crystal Hernandez. I am creating this go fund me account in hopes to help raise money for her and her family of 8 in this time of need. She has her husband and 5 kids at home and her baby boy in the hospital waiting for her to wake up.

Saturday January 1st Crystal and her husband Rico got sick with Covid (Crystal is 24 weeks pregnant). As days went by Crystal started to get worse and at night would feel like she was dying because she couldn’t breathe. Crystal went to the hospital on Tuesday January 4th and was immediately admitted because her oxygen levels were low.

The evening of January 4th they found that Crystal had Covid pneumonia and she was life flighted downtown to another hospital and was sent straight to the ICU to try and stabilize her as well as her baby boy.

Thursday January 6th around 3am they had to take Crystal in for an emergency C Section and delivery her baby boy Koda at only 25 weeks.

Koda is healthy and doing amazing but Crystal had to be immediately sedated and intubated.

Since she has been intubated she has went from 100% relying on the ventilator to 70% but her lungs are still struggling to keep up.

Crystals husband is having to miss so much work to take care of their 5 kids while she is fighting for her life in the hospital.
