Help curious George abandoned and sick

I am Dee, and for the past three months, we have had a night visitor coming into the house and helping himself to our three cats food.

 

At first, we told him to go, as he looked well-fed and thought he was just a cheeky chappy. However, each time he came, we also noted our other three cats, including the new kitten, were bumping noses with him and allowing him in and had no issue with him coming into the home.

 

So after a chat, we decided not to chase him out, and he became Curious George. He does not live with us but comes in now approximately 4-5 days a week to see us, and he eventually allowed a chin rub and stroking and does a lovely belly flop on the floor to say hello on arrival now.

 

We have not seen Groege for five nights, and he came in tonight, and he is unwell. We have spoken to a vet online and given ideas, but the route seems to be we need to get him to vets, and this is where we need help.

 

I cannot work due to a chronic long term health issue. However, we are not in a position to pay the vets fees. We are happy to house George and nurse him, but we need help to pay the vets fees. It could be a few hundred or more.

 

Speaking to a vet tonight, they will need to check him for a chip, examine his health, wormers and vaccinations, and treatment for what I think is a bad foot and kidney issues based on my many years of having cats.

 

I hate that this huge boy of a cat is not well, and we know we need to make sure he is sorted.
