Help Dabi and Destiny Secure a Camper Home

Dabi and Destiny are two homeless travellers who work around the country year round. We are in at least 3 different states across the country over the course of the year, sometimes more, and in every type of climate. We currently live in a tent together with our dog, and tents do not hold up well to rain and extreme weather. We're looking to raise money to get something more safe and stable.

I'm (Dabi) a trans woman who became homeless after a suicide attempt last year. I have two rods in my back, and a great sense of humor about it. I've been in a tent since May of 2023, and sleeping on a real bed would help me so much right now.

Destiny has been on the road for almost her entire life, and while she is quite happy with this life, her health issues don't agree with it. Having walls, a fridge, and a shower, would make all the difference and help us continue the work that we love and enjoy so much, and it would give us more opportunities in other states.

We're looking at something like this, a 16-20ft solid camper that I can tow with my SUV:

However, we don't quite make enough money to make this happen. We have about $500 saved up so far, and we're asking for $6,000 to get a used camper that we can live in with our dog. We don't want much, just something cozy and solid. Something we can call home.

This should cover:

the cost of the camper and registration,
a tow hitch,
and any other necessities to make sure it's roadworthy and livable (like a bed).

I've found a few in the area for this price, and we just need cash in hand to drive off with a new home.
