Geoff Hurley Lost Truck in Flood - please help my Dad!

My dad was driving in the torrential rain and pulled off where he was to wait for it to let up - he did not realize it was so close to the Wrightsville dam. He fell asleep for a few hours and woke up surrounded by water. He had to abandon his truck and hike out to Montpelier while the roads were cracking and breaking. His truck is now completely underwater, three days later.

He relies on his truck as a way to get around, for tree work as a freelance arborist and a place to make a camp when he needs to rest. He lost his food, vitamins, clothing, bedding, work tools, coolers and computer. He has been dealing with some eye issues and needs to be able to get around, get to doctors appointments and find places to stay.

He needs a vehicle, a place to live or somehow both!! Please please help if you can. He is truly a bright light and is struggling to make a plan in this tough time - if you have suggestions about housing, car donations, or tree work / equipment please please let us know, and please share !
