As many of you know, our Mom was diagnosed with cancer in 2021. She has been through a lot, but doing great as of lately, on track with treatments, and feeling great.

Recently, she contracted Flu A, and the last few days for her have been any child’s nightmare.

This flu caused her to become very sick and she ended up with a few different disease processes at once, to include meningitis and an acute brain injury from a fall, related to the dizziness from the flu.

She was rushed to the ER Friday morning after her fall and likely will remain in the hospital for a few weeks, at least until we can get her close to a new normal, and get some answers and ideas about what life looks like for her long term.
