Meet sweet Cindy. She is 6 and so full of life. Tuesday of this week her daddy had a gut feeling that her swollen eye wasn’t just an allergy/infection and took her to Children’s ER.
After a round of tests they received devastating news that Cindy has Acute Myeloid Leukemia/ Chloroma and will be in patient for the next 6 -8 months.
Treatment starts Thursday at St Jude’s and daddy will have to make the commute back and forth. But not only will he commute he will have to update his house for a clean room for just Cindy.
What makes this even more odd is Cindy is also named after her grandmother who passed away from the same diagnosis when her Daddy was 20. So this is close to his heart.
She was also diagnosed on her grandmothers birthday.
