Help Daeja Baker Help Others

Hi, my name is Karing Coyne... I'm one of the many people whose life is better because I know Daeja Baker. I'm fundraising for Daeja to help offset her cost of living while she works on earning her second Master's Degree- this one in Social Work- which is more in line with her heart.

Daeja is one of the most caring, selfless helpers I know. She is tireless in her willingness to offer support and fundraise for all of our sisters and non-men that have been in crisis and are members of the group she (and Liz) organized and maintain called Pittsburgh Feminists for Intersectionality. I see how hard she works to help others; I want her to feel at least a fraction of the love and support she offers others moving in her direction as she pursues this degree. I would love to see her able to work part-time instead of full-time while she attends classes, studies, and still gives some of her time and energy to those in crisis in our city.

In 2 years, Daeja will earn her Master's in Social Work in Direct Practice with Mental Health and Policy. With this degree, she will be better able to impact people most in need of support positively. Let's take some of the weight off her shoulders and help Daeja maintain her own mental health through this process by contributing anything we can- no amount is too small! If we all come together and care for our most trusted, reliable caregiver, we can make a big difference in her life.
