Help Daisy in her fight against cervical cancer

Dear supporter,

We are asking for your kind help in supporting our cousin Daisy Cuevas as she fights cancer for a second time. On June 6, 2022, Daisy was diagnosed with stage 2 cervical cancer. She had gone to the hospital for a routine checkup and left with news no one would ever want to hear. After going through six months of treatments and countless doctor visits, Daisy had thought she had won the battle, but on March 3, 2023, she received the news that her cancer had returned. Due to the aggressive chemo treatments, Daisy was hospitalized on March 20, 2023, for a perforated intestine and had to go under emergency ileostomy surgery. Currently, she is fighting cancer plus an infection in her stomach.

Daisy is very strong in her faith and believes God will guide her through this disease. Thankfully, she has an amazing support system with numerous family and friends continuing to pray for her continuous recovery. Daisy is a single mother of two boys aged 11 and 14.

Your generosity and support will help her and her family. It will also go toward mounting medical expenses and everyday bills. It will allow Daisy to take the time to heal her body and focus on this long road ahead.

Estamos pidiendo su amable ayuda para apoyar a nuestra prima Daisy Cuevas mientras lucha contra el cáncer por segunda vez. El 6 de Junio de 2022, a Daisy le diagnosticaron cáncer de cuello uterino en etapa 2. Había ido al hospital para un chequeo de rutina y se fue con noticias que nadie querría escuchar. Después de pasar seis meses de tratamientos e innumerables visitas al médico, Daisy pensó que había ganado la batalla, pero el 3 de marzo de 2023 recibió la noticia de que su cáncer había regresado. Debido a los agresivos tratamientos de quimioterapia, Daisy fue hospitalizada el 20 de marzo de 2023 por un intestino perforado y tuvo que someterse a una cirugía de ileostomía de emergencia. Actualmente, ella está luchando contra el cáncer y una infección en el estómago.

Daisy es muy fuerte en su fe y tiene mucha fe que Dios la guiará a través de esta enfermedad. Afortunadamente, tiene un increíble sistema de apoyo con numerosos familiares y amigos que continúan orando por su continua recuperación. Daisy es madre soltera de dos niños de 11 y 14 años.

Su generosidad y apoyo la ayudarán a ella y a su familia. También se destinará a aumentar los gastos médicos y las facturas diarias. Le permitirá a Daisy tomarse el tiempo para sanar su cuerpo y concentrarse en este largo camino por delante.
