UPDATE: 2/19
I've been calling the Vet numerous times daily. Yesterday began the concern that she isnt urinating & has to catheterize her to drain her blatter. The goal has been for her to come home today, but she is being kept another day because he wants to make sure she can pee on her own. They do not believe she has any neurological problems with her spine. They are u sure if it is the amount of pain she is in due to the fractures she has in the pelvis, that she can't squat right, if it's environmental or something else cause she's able to poop. I'm lost and feel so defeated I never thought this would be as costly as it has become. I had a breakdown on the phone with them. The vet said he wasn't charging to keep her and he's supposed to go through her invoice to remove some things to try to help cut the cost. Im trying to remain positive, but it's so hard! Thank you for all of your help and continued prayers.
This is Daisy she is a 1 & 1/2 years old. She is our family dog. This week while she wearing her perimeter collar a snomobile entered the driveway hitting her. The driver never stopped. She did not leave our propery and did not NOT deserve this! I did not hear anything. I found her laying by trees and the driveway covered in blood. She has undergone numerous surgeries to repair the lacerations, muscles that were damaged as well as the broken bones. Shes currently hospitalized receiving veterinarian care because she is so weak due to blood loss and all the damage done to her. The surgeries and expenses are astronomical. My children and ourselves could not end her life due to the fact all the damage was done to her hip and leg, as far as we know nothing else is wrong with her. Anything will help her and everything will be going to her hospital care and surgeries. If you drive a snowmobile or any ATV please stay off properties and watch for family, children and pets!!! My family is devastated by this. Thank You
