Help Damon & Christine Gerhardt Road to Recovery

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and a plea for help. On Saturday, July 15th, 2023, my beloved Aunt Christine and Uncle Damon Gerhardt experienced a horrific accident that left them fighting for their lives. While waiting in line at a food truck, their lives were shattered when they were struck by a reckless street racer. The impact was devastating, leaving both Damon and Christine with severe injuries and thrusting their family into a nightmarish ordeal.

Damon, a loving husband and devoted father to their four children, bore the brunt of the collision. He is currently in critical condition, battling multiple injuries, including a broken jaw, shattered pelvis, and nine broken ribs. In addition to these severe injuries, he is also grappling with blood clots in his lungs, which have further complicated his recovery process.

Their healing journey has been marked by numerous surgeries, grueling treatments, and unimaginable emotional turmoil.

We cannot begin to comprehend the pain and suffering Christine and Damon are enduring, but we are committed to supporting them throughout this arduous chapter in their lives. As they focus on their recovery and reuniting with their precious children, we want to alleviate some of the financial burdens that have arisen as a result of this tragedy.

The funds raised will go directly towards medical bills, rehabilitative therapies, essential living expenses, and, if possible, replacing Damon's car so they can resume their daily routines as soon as he is on the mend.
