Help Dan raise money for upcoming oral surgeries
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
Thank you for taking the time to hear my story on the journey towards a healthy new smile. I am asking for contributions to help cover some costs for my upcoming oral surgeries which total over 20,000 dollars.
I have not shared this part of my life with many people, as it was hard to be open with others concerning my overall oral and mental health. But, I am ready now to share my story so that it may help others do the same in the future. If you are suffering from any pain, please reach out to me or someone to talk about it. You are not alone.
Years ago, I suffered a traumatic mouth injury while drinking out of a glass bottle that was smashed into my face on accident. It had knocked out 2 of the teeth on my right side, and damaged several roots which caused the teeth to eventually die. After covering those up with cosmetic surgeries, they eventually fell out, and I was left with gaps in my mouth. During which time, I was also experiencing other tooth decay and general problems that led to some of the worst pain imaginable. Not only was I in physical pain, but this led to smashing my self-confidence to an all time low. If you know me, I am a very outgoing person, but having missing teeth (especially in the front) will really damage your confidence, and makes it very difficult to want to smile or even talk to others. I am a musician, performer, teacher, brewery tour guide, and other things that place me in front of large crowds and audiences. Not only do I want my health back, but I also want to be able to give myself the confidence to perform to my greatest ability while giving off the biggest of smiles for you all!
My main goal after recovery, is to launch my webpage (Buddahmusic.com) which will feature performances, music lessons, tutorials, and general education for all ages to learn from and enjoy. I wanted to get this off the ground sooner, but after seeing my teeth in high definition, I did not want to release any of those videos to the public as I was embarrassed and was not confident in my product. With your help, I will be able to move forward with my dream to educate and perform for people of all ages, all around the world with full confidence and a great smile!
I want to thank the love of my life for all the support and guidance she has provided me in this journey. I love you Kirsten. Without her, I don’t know if I could have done this on my own.
Please consider donating whatever you can to help me reach my goal to help cover the costs of these expensive surgeries. We appreciate all of you, and look forward to sharing with the status of my recovery! Next time I see you, let’s take a selfie and put on a big smile for everyone! Cheers! Thank you.
