Help Dan Fund His Tinnitus Recovery

Hi, I'm Dan, and as of the past couple of weeks I've been experiencing a debilitating setback with my tinnitus and hyperacusis. This has totally turned my life upside, making my ears too sensitive to do everyday things like sustaining conversation at normal volumes, listening to music, taking phone calls, going to events or working any kind of regular job.

It's likely that it will take 6 to 12 months to recover.

I am asking for help raising some money for medical treatments that will give me the best shot at recovering over the following months while I heal and begin to re-integrate into society.

What the money will be used for (Updated):

$400 (REACHED!) - Allows me to get a custom set of moulded ear plugs made which will greatly help me to protect my ears and integrate back into to community again as I recover and go about daily tasks.

$700 (REACHED!) - Allows me to attend the GP appointments to manage my case, refer me to specialists and look into disability funding for ongoing support.

$2100 - Will cover audiology appointments with hyperacusis specialists to manage my rehabilitation and ensure that my condition doesn't deteriorate further. This will include the introduction and management of various sound therapies to desensitise and rehabilitate my auditory pathways over time.

$3000 - Will allow me to get professional support in the form of counselling and therapy to assist me as I move through this extremely challenging time.
