Help Dan Maher in His Time of Need

Dan Maher is one of the most amazing people I know. He's a working musician, and has hosted a folk music radio show in eastern Washington for over 40 years. He's been a good friend to many of us in the folk music community, and has helped countless people and organizations over the years.

Now he needs your help.

At the beginning of January Dan had a heart attack and, while he was in the hospital, was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer, and given about five months to live.

Hospitals are expensive. The bills he owes for his recent hospital stays are at around $19,000 with more to come.

Dying over a period of months is expensive. Dan will need increasing amounts of help on a daily basis as his condition worsens.

All money raised will go directly to Dan to be used to cover medical expenses and any help he needs with taking care of himself and minimizing the amount of suffering he goes through.
