Help Dana with expenses

Our dear friend, Brian was a loving and big hearted soul. Dedicated husband to our friend Dana and loving father and grandfather.

A few weeks ago Dana and her family lost their beloved husband and father to suicide. For Dana and the kids loosing their father and husband so quickly and unexpectedly has left us in absolute shock and despair.  No one realised that behind Brians big smile was so much pain, and it is this haunting thought that will forever remain a question for us all, why did we not see it?!? Brian had dedicated his life to his beautiful wife, children and grandchildren. They were his life, his everything, which is why none of this makes sense. He was hard working, caring, and always had a smile that was so gentle; he touched the lives of many and to lose him in such a way is an absolute shock and tragedy that will haunt us all forever.

Brian took a leave of absence from his job to stay home and care for his youngest granddaughter who requires special care. With Dana now being the sole provider she will have to put her granddaughter in daycare. The bills are rolling in and it’s unsure if the life insurance will pay out. Dana would never ask for help but I know she is beginning to struggle financially. Anything raised through this page will help Dana pay monthly bills and daycare until she can hopefully get life insurance assistance. We are also going to be planning a benefit and celebration of life event in the near future.

We would so appreciate if you could share this page with the hope that Dana’s story is met with compassion, understanding and abundant generosity. We would also like to draw light to the issue of suicide and hope that this page reaches someone who may be feeling like there is no hope and we would like to let you know that there is.  Suicide is a permanent solution to an often temporary problem and your life has so much value and purpose so we encourage you to speak to someone who can help you navigate your journey.  There is hope….
