Help Dana and her family get urgent medical treatment!
Donation protected
Dear compassionate donors,
Dana, Mahmoud, and their 5 year old daughter Hayat urgently require your support after escaping the genocide in Gaza.
Here is a breakdown of the costs:
Dana needs $1800 every week for Peginterferon dose to treat blood cancer. Without the treatment, she always has symptoms of blood clots:
Dana's 5 year old daughter Hayat’s needs $1000 a month because she has celiac disease and cannot eat gluten. She also needs treatment for her speech impediment and PTSD that was caused by surviving the genocide. Without this treatment, she resorts to self-harm to communicate her needs.
Dana's husband Mahmoud needs $6000 once a year and $500 monthly for installing a pump to treat his diabetes.
To solve this problem, the family is trying to raise $50,000 for Mahmoud's beta cell transplantation.
The whole family also needs $300 for vitamins and medications monthly.
On top of the medical conditions outlined above:
Each evacuation costs $5000. Dana will therefore need money to evacuate her father, 2 brothers and her aunt.
Dana had to borrow $5,000 from her family in Gaza to evacuate her husband. The money has now been given back thanks to your generosity.
The financial burden of medical treatment, especially the beta cell transplantation in the United States, is overwhelming for the family.
Therefore, we are appealing to your generosity and compassion to contribute towards covering the costs of their medical expenses and providing them with the necessary support during these challenging times.
We understand that the estimated costs for such medical procedures can be substantial, including the beta cell transplantation. Therefore, any contribution you can make, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in alleviating the suffering of this family and providing them with hope for a better future.
We are more than willing to provide any additional information or clarification regarding the family's situation and the donation process.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Your support will make a meaningful impact on the lives of this Palestinian family from Gaza.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Dana and the fundraising team

This is Hayat before the war:
Here is Hayat at the beginning of the war on 10/09, when the ceiling fell from above and she survived the bombing.
Hayat’s father, Mahmoud, is battling Type 1 diabetes and requires a beta cell transplantation in the United States to improve his condition and enhance his quality of life.
This is Hayat's mother, Dana, before the war
Dana is suffering from blood cancer and has been deprived of treatment for the past 8 months due to the repercussions of the war.
Her teeth fell out after chemo
During the war she had to live on solutions because she was always tired due to the lack of treatment
