Help Dani With Medical Bills & Living Expenses

Hello! I’m fundraising for a dear friend of mine. Not only has she been through so much with her current medical issues, causing her to lose money and put her job in jeopardy, but the battle hasn’t ended. It’s just begun.
Dani was just diagnosed with Morton’s Neuroma along with a rare medical condition called Planter Fibromatosis after an MRI of her ankle. At the end of June 2021, surgery was done on her left foot for Planter Fasciiatis. That surgery went well but shortly after, the new conditions developed. She still has to get an MRI of her foot at the end of this month. Three months after the surgery she had to undergo an unrelated surgery. The surgeries took up all of Dani's PTO at work.
Plantar fibromatosis (Ledderhose disease) is a rare, benign, hyperproliferative fibrous tissue disorder resulting in the formation of nodules along the plantar fascia. This condition can be locally aggressive, and often results in pain, functional disability, and decreased quality of life.
Part of Dani’s job responsibilities require her to be on her feet for at least part of her work day, five days a week. This includes climbing stairs and walking for about 2 1/2-3 hours each shift. This makes recovery almost impossible, and even if she didn’t have to be on her feet, the Planter Fibromatosis will most likely keep reoccurring. She will have no PTO for the upcoming surgery and will only receive a small percentage of her pay and will have to pay and will have to pay her medical, Dental and eye insurance out of that, leaving her with virtually nothing.
Dani is a proud person, and I had to talk her into letting me do this. But I truly believe help from friends is necessary in this case. She is in constant pain, and has enough to worry about, let’s take a little off of her shoulders!!
