Help Danie Battle Breast Cancer
Donation protected
Danie was diagnosed February 26, 2021 with a rare stage 2 triple negative invasive ductal sarcoma after finding a lump in her left breast mid-December 2020.
If you don't know Danie, she's a hard working person who effortlessly puts others before herself as a clinical social worker.
She has been working tirelessly helping to heal veterans at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System and her last day of work was March 17, 2021. Surgery was successfully completed March 18, 2021 where the lump was removed. Treatment will require her to take six months medical leave from work.
In the amidst of this chaotic time, Danie was recently engaged to Andrew. She is currently undergoing fertility treatment because chemotherapy can greatly impair fertility.
After fertility treatment, Danie will begin chemotherapy for 3 months and finish her battle with radiation for another 3 months.
Danie has spent years advocating and giving to others. Please join us in supporting her during her breast cancer battle.
