Help the Malone Family

In September,  Daniel and Kim Malone (owners of Rae’s restaurant)  found out that Daniel has a large mass in his esophagus right above his stomach.   Soon afterwards it was officially diagnosed as esophageal cancer.   With the mass located where it is, Daniel has struggled to eat and thus has lost a significant amount of weight.  This eventually triggered his doctors to finally insert a feeding tube (Friday October 18th) to enable his body to get the nutrients it needs to fight the cancer.   His current schedule has him undergoing radiation 5 days a week and chemo once a week for the next 6 weeks.  Hopefully by the end of those treatments the tumor will have shrunk to a size that it can be surgically removed  (the goal for that surgery is around Christmas time).   Without insurance,  you can understand that it has been a battle to obtain quick and necessary medical care.   We are setting up this page to let all their fans/friends/family/acquaintances help them out.  All donations and prayers will be very much appreciated.    This page will be updated often to let you know how Daniel is progressing.
