On July 11th, Daniel's world was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with B-acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). This aggressive form of leukemia requires immediate and intensive treatment, including 6-9 weeks of chemotherapy followed by a possible stem cell transplant.

As Daniel battles this life-threatening illness, he faces the heart-wrenching reality of being separated from his family. His wife, Natalie, is 32 weeks pregnant with their first child, a baby girl they plan to name Sophia Lee. With Daniel unable to be at home to support her, Natalie is left to navigate the challenges of late pregnancy and prepare for the arrival of their daughter alone.

The cost of treating B-acute lymphoblastic leukemia in California is overwhelming. The expenses for chemotherapy, hospital stays, medications, and the potential stem cell transplant can easily reach hundreds of thousands of dollars. On top of this, there are additional costs for Natalie as she prepares for Sophia's arrival and manages their household without Daniel's support.
