∆ NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH ∆
Hi! My name is Daniel Andre Green. Thirty years ago, due to my terrible choices and decisions, and political manipulation beyond my comprehension, I was charged and eventually convicted of the murder of James Jordan, the father of Michael Jordan.
I was eighteen years old at the time.
I AM innocent of Mr. Jordan's murder.
Since then I have fought every day to survive this ordeal with my soul and dignity intact and to regain my freedom in a manner that demonstrates the evolution of my values, morality, and character.
I have placed my faith in the highest teachings that humanity has received and brought forth. I've wrestled with my lower self and honorably struggled with those under the control of their lower selves. In return, I've been granted an opportunity to gain my freedom in a way that will allow me to use all that I have learned and gained to be a light to those in danger of losing their freedom and their lives. This will be my healing and will make me whole again.
If you, society, allow me to be of service to you in this way it will make this thirty year journey through test after test, through loss and gain, worth every step of the way.
If you heard anything about this case you know that "something just ain't right." You may not have been able to put your finger on it but you know that the truth didn't come out.
I am blessed to have the support of people who have contributed time and money to see me free. I am grateful beyond measure and ask that you contribute whatever you can so that those who help me can continue to do so without it being a burden.
My family and friends have spent too much over the years to count: Gas money, phone bills, postage, food, etc...Even their children have donated to this cause.
The State of North Carolina Indigent Defense Services, Southern Coalition for Social Justice, and North Carolina Center for Actual Innocence have contributed funding and legal expertise at various phases of this case. Consider giving your support to them as well.
With your support we will be able to do the following:
- Maintain and expand our social media presence which is being managed by our amazing volunteer publicist
- Pay the tablet and phone bills so that we can communicate and coordinate our efforts as well as continue our research
- Publish the book written to the Jordan's and others on behalf of myself and the millions of people affected by the misappropriation of this tragedy to pass the 1994 Crime Bill (The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994). Presidents Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, and others who helped pass the act have since apologized for and, in agreement with President Donald Trump, have described it as the worst crime bill ever. The murder of James Jordan, Michael Jordan's celebrity status, and my prior wrongful conviction - which was later overturned and dismissed - was deliberately politicized to pass that crime bill.
- Continue educating the public on their legal and civic rights and duties so that we can resolve conflict without turning on one another and without resorting to senseless violence
- Exploring the connection between government and corporate organized gang banging, genocide, and societal destabilization
- Calling for, and participating in, greater demand for accuracy and transparency in our courts, and in media coverage of criminal justice
